The desert is full of life: eagles, the endemic Cholla cactus, and pitahayas growing out of other cacti, incredibly sweet. These tours always include round-trip transportation from where you are staying to the location and back. Horseback riding in the desert
There is also horseback riding through fantastic trails that wind from the location across the brush and the hills, up to incredible lookout points overlooking the Pacific Ocean. In whale season, from December to April, you can clearly see the whales from this point. One of the stops is right on the beach, where you can take pictures and stretch your legs with the soft ocean breeze on your face and warm, soft sand beneath your feet.
